“A very different approach to chiropractic care. Dr. Chris Tavares is a Chiropractor physician who focuses on the spine and sports injuries. My knee doctor who I beyond respect and is an amazing doctor sent me here (Dr. Marshall Allegra). Dr. Chris to me is cross between a chiropractor and an physical therapist. He recognizes the importance of strengthening not just making an adjustment and sending you on your way. He has really helped me and my family members. One of my family members whom is a Physical therapist has been going to Chris for treatments approaching two years. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist providing him additional resources to help rehabilitate your injury. He has practiced at numerous well established medical institutions such as Hartford Medical Group, an affiliate of Hartford Hospital, Spine Center of the Northeast, and was part of the Athlete Medical Team at Dew Actions Pro Sports Tour in 2007 & 2008. Dr. Chris' personality is uplifting and positive. He just has a way about him that makes you feel energized. The staff is fantastic. So the great thing is pain management. “The free consultations offered was greatly appreciated, answering questions before I met with Dr. Volpe and the PFAM team. The environment is very warm and highly professional. You get a very welcome, caring, inviting feeling from the clinical and administrative team. Really appreciated when you don't feel well. I've been supported medically and emotionally at the highest level and I have the utmost confidence in the care I receive from the entire clinical team. PFAM is a very special health care center. Cheryl, the nurse, is a "sharp shooter" with her IV needle-I've had IV's elsewhere, it always takes more than one nurse, and several attempts-not so with Cheryl, one time, every time-with minimal pain. The IV room and office, in general, is very warm, inviting and cozy-more like home than a cold medical environment. Lauren, the biofeedback therapist, is so nice and warm, offering so many tools to help with emotional and stress support. She has been a welcome support system for me in my treatment for cancer. She has so many tools to help me deal with my cancer condition and my anxieties associated with this illness. Dr. Volpe goes above and beyond to find the right and most effective treatment-she is just genius and completely dedicated to natural medicine. “I am a new patient to the practice. I came for a covid swab because Medical Art Center is one of the few places in the Northeast that gives you PCR covid results in less than one hour. My family of 8 needed PCR tests same-day due to travel. MAC accepted what my insurance paid even though my EOB showed a higher amount. I have a zero balance with them. I got tested 4 times now because of exposure and symptoms, and each time I had no problem. I was so impressed with their professionalism and care that I have made Dr. Bazerbashi my primary practice. “Type of Care Dr. Derrek K. Brown is an awesome Physician! He tells it straight, NO BS, offers a full, thorough appointment, takes his time to go over everything and asks if you have questions, he has great suggestions, he is very competent and educated. Wise, witty and overall just wonderful! My husband and I both had him until recently. I had a wrist issue and needed to see someone right away and I was given Dr. Jenn Dember, who I liked immediately and switched to her. She was very kind, patient and went out of her way to assist me with getting my xray done and my picking up my prescription close by so that it would be convenient for me. Dr. Jenn is very thorough and lovely but I miss Dr. Brown already! LoL Although I will still get to see Dr, Brown when my husband has his appointment, I'll miss his LOL humor. If you're looking for a great Doctor, you have a strong reference for two above. Please ignore the less than stellar customer service. These Doctors are worth it. You're welcome! Tammie“
