Dr. Garruba and his staff have been taking care of my pets (one cat, two dogs) since 2010. My pets have always been treated gently and with compassion, and I know they are getting the right treatment. When our golden retriever was dying two years ago, Dr. Garruba came out to my car to examine him, and told me that the end was near. He recommended a service that does euthanasia in the home, which turned out to be the best way. If you're looking for a vet practice that combines good care and respect for your pets, this is the place.
Dr. Garruba and Villano have been wonderful vets to my cats and dogs over the past 16 years. I recommend them to all my petsitting clients. The staff and reception are also kind and compassionate. Especially when you have a pet that needs care and you are stressing out, there’s nothing better than having vets who are not only good at their job, but also have the best "bedside manner".
I met Dr. G and his staff 18 years ago when I had adopted a cat from SAVE. I have been to other vets in the immediate area, but I chose to remain with Nassau Animal Hospital. During the current COVID-19 restrictions, when it came time to have our cat euthanized, they allowed my daughter to accompany our beloved cat on her transition. I always recommend this vet, because their prices are reasonable and their staff are accommodating and kind.
