About The Ballroom Dance House

My wife and I signed up to get us ready for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception. Ksusha ( pronounced "Soo-sha") was/is our teacher and is a fantastic instructor; she manages the difficult balance of strong, detailed instruction and patience with someone new to organized dance (that would be me) with a true desire that we not only learn the steps, but learn the finer points, like posture, hand/arm movements, etc.. Her years of professional dance are evident in her skill at effortlessly switching between the dance roles to work individually with each of us to make us better dance partners. This has been such an enjoyable weekly experience for us that we have continued taking classes after the reception event. So far, we've been learning Hustle, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, a little Salsa, and are starting Tango. They also hold dance parties and offer specials for new members, as well as multiple structured classes, in both individual and group lessons.
The TBDH is a beautiful and well designed dance studio in NJ owned and operated by two hardworking professional ballroom dancers - Ivan and Ksusha. The classes for kids and adults are offered in-studio and on-line. Friendly and knowledgeable instructors are available to prepare you for a showcase, competition, your wedding dance or to offer coaching to amateur couples. Come check them out.
