“Corey has been my trainer for 6 months now. I can’t say enough great things about him - but I’ll give it a shot on here. First, he’s just a great trainer who knows what he is doing and will help you with your fitness goals. He designs your workouts and supports you both within his gym and outside his gym. He customized a plan for me, keeps track of all my work outs, and adjusts as necessary. He also helped with nutrition questions and advice. But I think most importantly is, Corey is just a great guy. He makes you feel comfortable and engaged and is a joy to spend an hour with. I would highly recommend giving him a shot!Also, as a side note - I was someone who used to try all of the gym class fads - from CrossFit to F45 to a lot of the places around town. What I finally realized was - you just need to lift something heavy, use the right form, start eating better, and stick to it. “I joined Thunder Fitness about 3 weeks ago. I signed up to do the 6 week challenge. The challenge includes unlimited access to classes as well as a weekly meeting with a nutritionist. I’m only half way through and I had no idea how life changing this experience would be. If you’re like me and have struggled on and off with weight, if you’ve tried every faddy, toxic diet then you CANNOT unlearn dieting by yourself. It’s impossible. Over the past three weeks I’ve wanted to fall back into skipping meals, cutting out entire food groups, counting and weighing everything. But I haven’t and I’ve lost TEN lbs. TEN and my body is changing. The workouts are hard, but they’re 45 mins and if I can do it, you can. You don’t even have to think, you’re going to get a full body workout out that’s been designed to work all muscle groups, paving the way for a great shaped healthy body, little by little in a HEALTHY way. Even the workouts I was doing were WRONG. Lifting so heavy I could barely move after or hours of cardio. I also worked in a gym for 6 years, have been a member of every online bootcamp and in person fitness trend. It’s motivating to see the same group give or take most days, the instructors are insanely awesome (Tracey and Austin). The owner Jeremie is so great and honest. And lastly I need to talk about someone really cool. Pam! Pam is a nutritionist and trainer. In her classes she gives a mantra and a game changing tip. Today she talked about embracing the process, that we’ll get to our destination if we enjoy the journey. I really needed to hear that this morning, it completely changed my mind set. She’s taught me how to breathe when performing exercises… I didn’t know that breath work could propel a workout in such a way. Again I worked in a gym for 6 years and no one told me. I couldn’t do it alone. I thought I could. I respect Pam’s nutrition plan so much, for the first time I’m allowing myself to eat, I’m never hungry. I’ve spent my life being hungry. I really recommend this place with my whole heart! Thanks Thunder Fitness, I’ve been needing this knowledge and motivation since I was about 12 years old.“
“I've had a really fantastic experience at Evolve (Nelson is my trainer). They clearly match their approach to each unique person -- whether you are new to weight lifting or an experienced athlete. The gym is large with all of the equipment, yet private with a boutique feel. They do one-on-one training as well as small group sessions. Highly recommend.“

“I had injured myself kickboxing at another gym so I had not gone to the gym in a few months as I was waiting for my left thumb/wrist to heal. My hairdresser recommended F45 Training of Pine Brook. I stopped in as I was passing by the other week and met the owner (Dom) who is also a qualified fit teacher and a chiropractor. I was impressed so I signed up for their $7 for 7 days trial last week. I have since joined and the classes are great with choices of weights at each station. I find myself getting cardio as well as the weights and having motivation with those around me. Dom has helped me modify some of the exercises to make sure my left thumb/wrist continues to heal and to be sure I do not injure my back as I have scoliosis. I wish I had joined sooner. I also like how Dom sterilizes an cleans after each class. This is a gym for all ages and it is great to have a such a great caring knowledgeable teacher. I also like how he shows the exercises first and then you follow the TV's to make sure you are doing the exercise right and to not forgot what you are doing. No more waiting in line for my turn as the gym is set up to in a very organized way.“
