Girl, If you’re debating trying this place or not this is your sign to do it. I got my brows laminated and tinted for the very first time here and it was a risk to do it at a new place but it payed off!!!! Not only was Payal SOOOO sweet and accommodating but she is SKILLED. First she threaded my brows before she did the tinting + lamination and ??????? at that moment I saw how perfect even and crisp my brows were I instantly relaxed and knew she was about to cook. Kara is a WIZARD!!! I got brow lamination and lash extensions for the first time. I could not be happier!! My brows were the victim of a couple of bad threading sessions and really needed help. She 100% fix them for me. She is so professional. She takes her time on you & doesn’t rush you out, but you’re also not stuck in the chair for an eternity. She’s sweet, patient, and listens to every detail you tell her. She told me I’d become addicted and she’s right! I can’t wait to go back for my fill in!

Call for reservation Saturdays. Charles III - we share that three generation name: me, the owner Chuck III and that mopey King guy in England: AND we all share appreciation for good haircuts! And $32! I was bracing myself for $50. Lauren I believe it was - terrific haircut, great chair chat. She's been shoring heads since high school and for me, we created the illusion there's still some hair on the dome! Shhh. Don't tell Chuck I expected to be charged $50 - he looks industrious! ;) Oh and you got kids? HAIRY kids!? The sweetest touch at chez Charles is these little kiddie cars so Rusty can sit in while getting cut. Up here around Hack town with crazy drivers, be nice for the kids to learn a relaxed car experience. No one cuts anyone off in the kiddie car room; they just get their hairs cut. How many ? All of 'em! No one who welcomes children into our adult business world can be anything but kindhearted. And hey...I don't know about you, but I've had it up to here with callous and pushy ego maniacs in the world. Bring back decency and reasonable haircuts!

WOW!!! I bought an electric shaver earlier this morning. Unfortunately.. my father had issues with getting everything off before the wedding tomorrow. I called and the shop manager was eager to help! Despite me being aware of the no return policy once an electric razor is used. I was widely impressed how the manager was able to swap the blades and show me how my father how to properly shave. He was happy to assist me with new blades and I walked out feeling respected and valued. I would give this business my time any day as you don't just feel like another simple checkout experience. My father is 78 years old and was wildly impressed with the etiquette and respect the shop gave him.

Was looking for a new hair salon, so I decided to try Aila Salon in Paramus. I called to see if they had an opening for the same day, and they were so accommodating. I asked for a root touch up as I have a ton of grey and a good amount of blue from my last box color. I also wanted my hair cut 2 inches shorter into a blunt bob. I arrived and was immediately greeted by Aila who spent a lot of time with me going over what I wanted and did not want. Alia meticulously cut my hair, gave me a beautiful blow out, and curled it into exactly the look I was going for. I will definitely be back!

Chelsea is the best for lash lift!! I have been to at least 10 places before hers and nobody could replicate the lash lift I used to get done in my home country (nothing crazy just more curled than lifted).Chelsea was ok to let me decide what size I wanted for my curl and explain me all the different sizes/effects you could get done. She is super understanding and she does not get offended if you tell her that you want the lash lift done differently. Highly recommend her for lash lift!
Poise salon was everything to me from when I entered I was greeted and welcomed and the spa was so vibrant and Debbie made me feel so comfortable. She explain the services I was getting and we spoke and we laughed. Defiantly felt like I was in a luxury spa. I was so happy with my look and the service I received. My friend recommended this gem to me when I first wanted to get a Brazilian done. I do Brazilian and underarms every 5-8 weeks during the summer and every experience is great. You are in great hands no matter who is working with you or what you get waxed. The skin is always silky smooth and soft at the end, and I have noticed that my hair has been slower to grow.
I recently went to Rachel for my first micro needling session and was very satisfied with the results. Although my face was red the first day, it quickly looked better the next morning. Now, my skin has a nice glow and appears to be much smoother. My husband even noticed and said my face looks beautiful and he loves how fresh my skin looks. I was surprised how painless the procedure was due to the numbing cream that was applied to my face. I will definitely continue to go for more sessions and I’m looking forward to going back soon.

I love this place ? I have came here 3 times and the staff is always so kind to the girls! They treat their little clients with so much respect and love, the young girls working here are the best. They keep the girls occupied and I love how they try to keep conversations even with the shy kiddies. The Elsa party was fun, bring your own costumes to the character parties!! This was my first brow/lash experience & let me just say it was everything! Shary is extremely sweet and knowledgeable, the space is beautiful and clean, and the entire experience was a vibe. Shary made sure my first experience was super comfortable, she answered any questions I had and made sure to explain the aftercare process thoroughly. The suite is easy to locate and there is plenty of parking available. 10/10 recommend!
I went in with a Groupon deal. It appears that they have a nice discount for new comers as well. The receptionist and the technician were nice and welcoming when I came in. Then we went over the style and length/size of the lash I want and to the bed. The service took about an hour, and I think I fell asleep during the procedure. The result came out exactly what I wanted. I only want to add a little more volume, and the technician executed perfectly. I would recommend this place to my friend if they ask where I got it done. One downside for me is the location. If you miss the building and their parking lot, going back takes too long, but it's really minor issue.

My new Blue Star refrigerator was beeping intermittently, driving us crazy, not showing any error message. Johann, the tech from Pete's, came and said, "usually, it's the sensor in the refrigerator." But this is a high tech refrigerator, so we downloaded a diagnostic file to a thumb drive and sent it to the manufacturer, and they said to replace the sensor in the freezer. Johann came back and did that: the beeping continued. Multiple diagnostic files and new parts later, Johann came back and replaced the sensor in the refrigerator. Problem solved, and now I trust Johann more than the onboard diagnostics.
Apparently, I'm the first customer in Jersey City since the pandemic. I hope they continue to include me in their service area!

My front yard was in need of some serious pruning and manicuring so I reached out to Frank. He came promptly to assess what needs to be done and gave us some suggestions as well. He was a pleasure to talk to and is really knowledgeable on the type of plants we had and their behaviors. A lot of the other landscapers i've spoken to tells me to just scrap the whole yard and start over but Frank had great ideas to preserve some of it which I was delighted about. His guys were quick too, within a few hours they've taken out 4 shrubs, manicured the others and even cleaned up. I can see my yard again! Thank you!

Dr. Bensky took the time to understand my goals, where I was experiencing pain and why. From my first treatment, I started to feel significant relief, including not having aches and pains when I first woke up in the morning and being able to keep up with my toddler. He takes the time to explain what the treatment plan is and what is causing the pain. I am thrilled that my pain has been reduced, and that my range of motion has increased significantly
I was bed ridden for a week with low back pain, went to the ER and was given pain meds and send home. But I went to Dr. Marinkovic and he took the time to get to the root of the problem, not just treat the symptoms and send me on my way. It's been awhile since I received a nice strong thorough massage. Made my appointment. I didn't have to wait. Asked for an hour massage. Just about all the knots and sore spots were hit. Left rejuvenated. Highly recommend.
