He and his crew returned in less than an hour and did an absolutely amazing job. Except for my destroyed car you would never know there was a tree on my driveway.I have used Bill multiple times in the past and have never been disappointed. “We were looking for a tree service in the Bushkill/Stroudsburg/Pike County area. We stumbled upon Filo’s through a recommendation from a Saw Creek neighbor.When it comes to Phil from Filo’s, “tree service” is a somewhat of an understatement…..maybe, “Tree whisperer”? The definition of PROfessional. The top-notch quality of service is the reason I’m writing my first Google review — He’s just THAT good.As a certified arborist, Phil was incredibly knowledgable. We were just looking to find out what we needed to, or “should” do for house safety and overall tree health, versus what we “could” do. He told us all that and then some - we ended up learning a lot! Phil told us upfront he wouldn’t cut a tree down unless absolutely necessary.He walked our property and spotted everything from Gypsy moth damage, to previous bad cuts that had badly damaged trees, to inside rot evidenced by a conk (as we said, he taught us stuff!)We knew we had some trees that needed to be removed because they were dead and/or falling/fallen, but Phil identified some “hidden” issues that no one but a certified arborist would have seen.Another “tree service” came by previously and basically told us that they could/would take down whatever we told them to for $X dollars. (Ok. Ummm…. We needed a bit of guidance.)By contrast, Phil spent well over an hour giving us a detailed initial consult (not knowing that we would even hire him).He truly cares and was careful with other trees to protect them - we had a pretty complicated situation with a couple large trees hung up in another, and his main concern was taking care to ensure no harm to the tree holding them up as he cut the others down. It was amazing to watch and a testament to his craft.He was professional and honest; he recommended that for the tree health we wait until later in the year to prune the healthy trees instead of him doing it then (which others would likely have done anyway).He not only listened to, but invited questions and explained - a true teacher. “I hired APM Tree Service to trim the trees in my backyard, and they went above and beyond what I had hoped for. They came when they said they would and had a whole crew with them to get the job done quickly and well. They cut down more trees than we agreed to. They even cut up and stacked some of the branches so I could use them as firewood, which was a nice surprise. They also cleaned up the leaves on my walkway. In fact, my backyard was cleaner when they were done than when they started. I would recommend APM Tree Service to anyone who needs work done on trees. I'm going to have them come back next fall to trim more trees.“

“It was our first time working with ATC to remove several dead ash trees as well as some others. It was an absolute pleasure working with them. All the work was completed on schedule, even with an expanded scope (additional trees, cabling). The crew was so careful on our property, protecting existing plants very nicely. At the end of the job, their crew was gently blowing wood chips off of our daffodils that were already in bloom. Now that is that little extra care and detail that stands out. I think a huge differentiator is the type of equipment that they have. Their very narrow scissor lift and the claw vehicle were so critical for the work on our property. Other vendors wanted to take down a portion of our fence and/or temporarily remove other trees to enable access for their full size bucket trucks. So those guys were non-starters. But I think the biggest thing to me was the communication, which starts with Jean. My wife and I consider ease of communication one of our top priorities when dealing with our vendors. And ATC hit the mark and then some, no question about it. I've already recommended them twice; to my next door neighbor and also on NextDoor to someone who was looking for a tree service in the local area. I've also already discussed with Rob some additional work we may plan for late summer or fall. All in all, just a great experience with ATC. Highly recommended.“
