After hours, I discovered my basement was beginning to flood with sewer water out of the pipe that serves the washer and dryer. I was afraid it was the main sewer line to street and imagined a horrific night ahead. I called NJ Affordable, and Alex was at my house in 30 minutes; through process of elimination, he figured out the clog was just inside the house and was able to find an entry point without cutting pipe unclogged it within half an hour with little mess or fuss. He then gave me advice for avoiding the problem in the future. His rate was reasonable, esp. for after-hours work, and when I tried to tip him, he waived the money away.
