“Over the years I have searched for the perfect Veterinary practice. My search is over. I am so happy to have found County Animal Hospital. Dr. Robert Weiner and all of the staff are wonderful. My 2 dogs Hercules and Cleopatra love going for a visit. Hercules is a healthy dog but my Cleopatra had some issues a few years back and I rushed her to see Dr. Weiner. He was able to diagnose her intuitively at first and then the lab results confirmed exactly what he diagnosed as Kushings and Diabetes. Dr. Weiner litterally saved Cleopatra's life. Now, several years later her Kushings and Diabetes is well managed because of Dr. Weiner's incredible diagnostic skills and his caring manner. I highly recommend County Animal Hospital. “I brought my beloved dog Vanna to be put to sleep on June 7th to Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital . Vanna was 17 years old and was completely blind. Her blindness didn't stop her from being physically active and she was always on the move. Unfortunately there were other issues which made it impossible for Vanna to continue being active. Vanna was seen by Dr Meza. She was so patient with me and gave me all the time I needed to hold Vanna and cry and just say goodbye to my little beautiful baby. I didn't feel pressured at all. Dr Meza explained the entire procedure to me and told me when I was ready to let Vanna go to let her know. I was holding Vanna when she passed. I wept so much but I truly felt it was the best thing I could do for my sweet girl. I would definitely recommend Dr Meza or Dr Marteney. “What an amazing Veterinary Practice! We brought our new puppy to see Dr. Maida last week for a puppy exam and to discuss vaccines and her general health. He did a thorough exam on her and told us we can bring her back this week for her booster vaccine and a checkup. She had her booster vaccine today and while we were checking out she threw up. Dr. Maida and his staff jumped into immediate action assessing little girl and confirming she was having an anaphylaxis reaction due to the vaccine. They immediately treated her with steroids and fluids and monitored her until she was stable and ready to go home. They continued to check on her and us and answered every question we had with compassion, kindness and understanding. We were both extremely nervous as we had never seen this happen and she is a tiny 2lb 12 week old puppy.Emergency aside, Dr. Maida is an extremely knowledgeable and patient vet who answered every single one of our questions about our new pup and helped us make appropriate decisions regarding her care. The office and exam rooms are clean and all of the staff are kind and welcoming.
