When I first moved to the area after having lived in NYC for almost a decade, I was concerned with finding a salon that would meet the same standards I was accustomed to. Once I found Birch, I never looked back. I have been coming here for several years and my hair always comes out beautiful. Service is top notch and the employees, from the receptionist to the stylists and owner, could not be any more friendly.
I have been a customer at Birch since its opening. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the salon is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Lucine at the front desk makes sure that appointments are booked well in advance and are convenient for all customers. I cannot say enough about April who is professional and so knowledgeable! Not everyone can cut curly hair and I trust April whole heartedly when it comes to cutting, coloring, and styling my hair. She always runs on time and I often see her guiding and teaching newer stylists throughout the day.
Can't help but notice how conceited these workers are. Especially the colorist April who subtly makes Instagram posts about people complaining about her prices. Not everyone can afford your 300$ highlights and come out looking practically the same. Overall the whole salon has price increases all the time and everyone seems kind of stuck up working there
