“Kodiak just finished up installing our new stone driveway earlier today and I have to say that they did a great job! Bob, the owner, was thorough when he first came over to do measurements and assess the job back in November. He answered all of my questions and made some suggestions about things that I hadn't even considered. Unfortunately, we had to wait a few months since the winter weather didn't want to cooperate. But once the temps warmed up a little, the Kodiak guys were here to get started. Danny and his crew showed up on time every single day, bright and early, and went right to work. I'm not the lurking/hovering type. (Well, other than watching the tractors, machines and some of the procedures they use during construction...I guess I'm still a kid at heart!) But anytime I stepped outside or glanced out the front door, these guys were always working. The only time they stopped was for their lunch break. Every night after they were through (and many times mid-job) they swept and shoveled away loose soil, stones and pebbles that may have gotten loose around the work area. They answered every question I had about the job. And all of them were ALWAYS polite and cheerful. A really nice group of guys that I'm sure Bob is proud to have working for him. Definitely give Kodiak a call if you need a landscaping job done. Top notch!“

We just finished a project with some general idea as to what we were looking for and mark and the team took it far beyond what we imagined. “The Raymond Brothers know their job and know it well. Scott, in particular, as tended my brother's tree, PFC. Michael C. Roell, in Veterans Park for the past 3 - 4 years. He planted this tree, at my request, and would not accept payment. He prunes and he fertilizes this tree and he looks out for it, too. If I suggest something to be done, he is agreeable and he will and does do it. Today, this tree is lush, vibrant, well fed and well tended. I cannot ask for more or for better. He will not accept any payment out of respect for my brother which I did not and do not expect. Yet, he continues to do everything..."Pro Bono"!
Also, if I were to die, prematurely, he would continue to tend this tree and this tree would continue to live.“

“Smitty's rebuilt my front yard and I have to say they were exceptional! Alex drew up plans based on our preferences, and added her professional opinion to make sure it all worked out. The team worked fast and carefully to produce amazing results. No lie, it was probably the best contractor experience I've had - and we've pretty much rebuilt this entire house. We had worked previously with another firm, but Smitty's came in with a more competitive bid and was very easy to work with - we kept coming at her with "oh, one more thing" and her reply was always "no problem." “Loved everything about working with Joe Finizio and Sons. Joe provided excellent guidance and landscape design suggestions, and he worked with me to realize my "natural elements only" vision. This was a one-week project, and the crew (professional and polite) was on site every morning at 8 AM and left the job site clean at the end of the day. The project included the demolition of existing stone walkway and designing/rebuilding it, the removal of all existing landscaping on the property, and aeration/topsoil/seeding of lawn areas. I look forward to the next phase which will include new landscape design and plantings.“

He was a pleasure to talk to and is really knowledgeable on the type of plants we had and their behaviors. A lot of the other landscapers i've spoken to tells me to just scrap the whole yard and start over but Frank had great ideas to preserve some of it which I was delighted about.
