Starter died while getting gas at Judy Bloome rest stop, had tow company take my truck to Russ auto repair based on recs I found here. I was NOT disappointed. Very honest and fair operation. Got me right in, called for pricing on new and refurb starter to give me options, started removing dead starter while waiting for new part delivery, immediately installed new starter and sent me on my way. VERY, VERY honest. If you are in the area and need vehicle service, you will be very happy having service done here.

I was visiting in the area of Ocean Grove and started having car issues. Local bartender at Darcy’s recommenced Russ’s auto repair in Neptune. He said he was very honest-fair and only did what needed to be done. Russ was amazing!! He knew that I was not from the area and was in a bind. I dropped off my car and in a matter of an hour he called me back and had identified the issue and the fix. I was thrilled that he could do the repair which required welding-yet another skill of Russ’s. I've gone through several mechanics and Russ is easily the best I've worked with. He is 100% up front and honest with you about everything and would rather you do what's best for you then try to make a quick buck. His prices are also very fair and I will be happy to come to him for any future problems I run into!
