To spend the money I spent on lasik and get the treatment I have received is extremely frustrating. I am thankful for the results, safe procedure, and the ease of the pre-op appointment. However the post op makes me regret picking this office. No one called me to make sure I had my 6 month follow up appointment scheduled. I waited 25 minutes for an appointment first thing in the morning and 53 minutes for an appointment at 12. Advice to the new management, stop overbooking!! It's not the doctors fault.
I think the 30-40 min wait is kind of ridiculous. I was early as to respect the doctors schedule but they need to start respecting our time. Doctors are great but they do charge more for every little service. Contact lens exam is one fee then an additional fee is the eye glass rx also. Why is that? Anyway regardless of the fee. I like the clean/new facility and the doctors are proficient but the waiting time will prob make me leave this practice.
I got Lasik eye surgery with Dr. Reisman this week, and it was such a simple, painless procedure. Ana Pires, the surgical coordinator at Morristown Ophthalmology Associates is a saint, and extremely thorough. She does everything in her power to inform you, answer your questions, and prepare you for the pre- and post-surgery instructions. The procedure is quick and not nearly as scary as your mind can make it out to be. I would recommend this practice to anyone, and I am seeing 20/15 (better than 20/20) the day after my surgery. If you're thinking about Lasik with Dr. Reisman and staff, DO IT! As a girl who has worn glasses since 2nd grade, I could not be happier.
