Mark 1 rebuilt our home after a house fire and they did a great job. The quality of the work is outstanding, especially the finish work like the tile work, wood flooring, painting, cabinet installation, etc. We've now been through a renovation with our vacation home in another state, which was a nightmare, so now we realize how lucky we were to have Mark 1. The only negative is that it took twice as long to move back in as originally estimated, but I'd been warned by others that contractors always underestimate the time it will take for the work so we were prepared for that. After a truck ran into the back of my house my insurance company referred Mark 1. It took a lo g time but there were extenuating circumstances that got in the way. Snow, permits, waiting for windows to be made, etc. I got frustrated ? Joe reassured us that even though it looked like nothing was being done it was being done behind the scenes. He was correct. I am so pleased with the quality of the work. Everything looks beautiful and I have nicer back steps than I had before the accident. I have since referred them to a neighbor and would do so again if ever asked. My home is restored to its original beauty. The wait was well worth it. I used Mark 1 Restoration as my general contractor in the demolition of my fire-destroyed home and its total rebuild. They managed all of the town permits, even finding efficiencies to move things faster. Once they started the work, things happened very fast. In more than one instance there were contractors literally bumping into each other getting things done. The build was completed one month ahead of time. They were always responsive to any questions I had and acted on any requests I had.
