I tried Acupuncture as a last resort for my sciatica. I found Aleksandra to be extremely caring and good at listening. She is excellent at what she does and I have also learned many things from her about nutrition and how my nervous system works. Within 3 sessions I was markedly improved from the constant pain I was experiencing. Within 2 months, virtually pain free! I lucked out with finding her on the internet but would HIGHLY recommend her (and acupuncture) to anyone.
I have been receiving acupuncture treatments for many years, and I've seen many practitioners of Chinese medicine. I am very particular in whom I trust. Sasha's treatment was quite exceptional. She has fabulous needling technique. If you are afraid of needles, she is the perfect person to see. Her needles are very VERY thin. She has a very gentle way of utilizing them, so that most of the time you don't feel a thing! Once in a while, you might feel a very little bit. It's really MUCH easier than getting an injection from a Western Dr. Sasha is quite knowledgable in Chinese medicine. I always ask a lot of questions, some of which I know the answers :-D I like to know who I'm dealing with, and whether that person has a good teaching demeanor and a good bed-side manner. Sasha was excellent in every respect. Believe me NOT ALL ACUPUNCTURISTS ARE ALIKE. I highly recommend Sasha for all, and especially for children and anyone who may be squeamish with needles. Truly Chinese medicine is worth the trouble, and Sasha is one of the best practitioners I've known.
