Lisa Mierop is quite simply the best landscape designer I have encountered in my thirty years in the horticultural profession. I first met Lisa before she started her business, when, passing her house one day, I was startled by the beauty of her front garden and stopped to admire it and to introduce myself (she happened to be outside working on some plants). Lisa, owner of Mierop Design, is an amazingly talented landscape designer. In 2003, we decided to tackle our lackluster yard. After seeing the results of Lisa Mierop's designs from friends and neighbors we asked her to view our property and show us a plan. The plans Lisa drew up for the front and back that blew us away. Lisa showed us we can add curves, height, and dimension. She incorporated existing foliage, and added in an artistic blend of flowers, plants, and trees; as well as fencing and hardscaping.
