28 Fulton St, Montclair“We've worked with Steve & Brother Landscaping twice now, once last fall to install a French drain and again this spring to perform a spring clean up, mulch our entire property and do some tree trimming. This company and their team are wonderful to work with. I've worked directly with Sandro and found him to be super professional, communicative and most importantly, thorough. They legitimately care that they do the job right and at a fair price. I absolutely will be working with them going forward and more so, recommending them to my friends and neighbors.“

165 Valley Rd, Montclair“Frankly, I'm shocked by some of the other reviews here. It's like we're talking about 2 different guys. We hired nick to lay down a patio with walkways, clear some areas, install drainage, and do some minor planting. My experience was stellar. Nick gave me a price that was far better than any of 6 or 7 other landscapers I consulted, he got the job done in a very short time and before a critical deadline, he always responded to my text messages and calls, he was knowledgeable about town ordinances and permitting requirements as well as the various planting we requested, the quality of his work was excellent, and he corrected every little nit that I raised without objection. Plus, he's an awfully nice guy. I'm giving him a big thumbs up; I was very happy.“

120 Walnut St, Montclair“Lisa Mierop is quite simply the best landscape designer I have encountered in my thirty years in the horticultural profession. I first met Lisa before she started her business, when, passing her house one day, I was startled by the beauty of her front garden and stopped to admire it and to introduce myself (she happened to be outside working on some plants). Over the years, I have seen Mierop Design begin, grow, and develop into the thriving business it has long since become.Lisa's knowledge of plants is extensive, as is her understanding of how to use plants, along with all other aspects of outdoor design, in creating beautiful landscapes appropriate to their settings. Her taste is impeccable as is her sensitivity to the needs and wishes of her clients.A lot of landscape design in Northern New Jersey is rather formulaic and, frankly, boring. That is never the case with Lisa's work, which is always lush, flowing, and interesting -- in a natural, not precious, way.I might add that Lisa Mierop is a bright and lovely person, a pleasure to talk with and work with.Steve SchlesingerSales representative, Centerton Nursery, Bridgeton, NJ(Former garden center manager)“
