“Shawn, the owner, truly just wants you to be happy. I hired this team to do 4 major jobs: cabinet repainting, existing hardwood floors refinishing, installation of new hardwood floors on another floor, and whole house interior painting. Through out the entire process Shawn and his team remained extremely communicative. This was extremely important to me because you often hear of horror stories of contractors that just disappear on you. Brushhouse is different. There was either texting or a call almost every day (mostly initiated from my end, you could probably do less if you wish). From the initial evaluation till the project completion, I was kept in the loop for every step. I was also able to voice any concerns I had during the process and I got a response always in a more than reasonble time frame. They explained their process to me in detail and made sure to document exactly what I wanted so they could do it to my specifications. They started exactly when they said they would and though technically the project went overtime, I will say it was mostly my fault because I added on a number of things after they had already began. So essentially, they finished on the time that they promised. There were no excuses or disappearances. They were there every day until the project was done. The team worked really hard every day for the whole day. They would arrive at 8am and leave at 5pm. For the most part, they would clean daily as well. I was able to live in the house during the painting parts with minimal efforts from my end to maintain cleanliness. I did have to leave during the floor part because I just could not stand the smell (not their fault, it is just what the chemicals smelled like). The job was done to perfection. So much so that Shawn PERSONALLY scoped out the project on multiple occasions and asked for feedback. If I was unsatisfied with something, either he, or one of just project managers, Jesus, made sure that it was corrected quickly. I must admit, I am very picky but they were willing to do little touch ups here and there for me to my satisfaction because, as mentioned, they just want their clients to be happy. I am extremely satisfied with the end product and the time frame in which they finished the task. The house looks AMAZING and the outcome was very similar to the pictures they place on their social media/yelp/thumbtack. As for pricing, while they leaned just a little more on the pricier side (I did find contractors that priced lower), the value is incredible. Just read what I wrote again. They complete the job to perfection. The have a lifetime guarantee for their interior painting job. They will finish the job in a very reasonable time frame. Once they start, they will keep going until the project is done. That is VERY hard to beat. On one of the final days, Shawn himself pointed out a floor issue (keep in mind they had finished the floor 2 weeks before) that showed up after they finished painting and removed all the coverings on the floor. He volunteered the issue, he volunteered the fix at no extra cost. This is an example of how much they care about their work and their quality. His project manager, Jesus, did a phenomenal job at having his painting team come in and do touch ups for me to my satisfaction. I had left a few bits of tape here and there for spots that I just wanted to be a bit better and his team went above and beyond by going around the house themselves and taking their time to find any other spots that they think could be better. I know because it is all on my security camera. Finally, for combining my projects, I was able to have a conversation with Shawn about discounting the jobs due to the total amount we would give ad he was very reasonable. His focus is on quality and he even said that at a certain price, he would not be able to deliver the quality that he would want to give and that at that point, he would not recommend his company. “Hi. Had my stairs and landing done. It was a very pleasant experience. They let my wife take floor samples home. They ordered rug samples. The samples arrived when promised. They told me it would take 4 week. It took 4 weeks. The young man installing it was on time and worked efficiently. He did an excellent job. The view down the stairs shows a tight even fit around the step lip. They all look the same. No bulges. I purchased from Churchills in the past and that's why I went back. Theses are not the original owners. It doesn't matter. They are just as good. I recommend them.“

We had Viking sand the floors in our entire house and refinish the floors with stain and sealant coats. They also replaced boards that were worn, refinished the joins of boards between rooms and repaired where the floor met steps to our mud room and the staircase.
