I popped in out of "curiosity" and was blown away with the interesting assortment of toys, jewelry, books, antiques and way too many other wonderful things to mention in the shop. The shop owners were so wonderful with my curious teenage son, allowing him to touch and try out items, providing fascinating trivia, backstories and history about them. Most importantly, I found a book about Jersey City during 1940-1960 - the era in which my parents were born there - which made the PERFECT and touching gift for my dad's 75th birthday.
Coolest shop ever. They have such a variety of things and it's really thrilling to find something you enjoy in there. Pete and Lois were so kind to us, and it was fun hearing stories of their finds. We really appreciated Pete showing us all the records they were organizing and for letting me play the Zager guitar on the wall. Will definitely be coming back!
