“I was very lucky to find Frank on Facebook and have him install a gas-fired pool heater in my garage. It was a very complex job that required running gas pipe across the entire length of the house, building a ventilation system from scratch, running electrical, and installing safety bollards. Most others couldn’t tackle the project in its entirety due to the complexity and different disciplines involved. Frank and Nick absolutely crushed it - they are top notch professionals and do it at the right price. They came in with a complete, code-compliant plan for the job at a lower price than other contractors, including handling permitting with my local township. “I’ve finally found a heating/AC repair service I can trust and have confidence in. I’m a pretty good DIY home owner but sometimes you have to call in a professional. Rich is that guy, family owned, in the Monmouth county area for 32 years. Knowable, professional, courteous, reasonably priced. I’ve unfortunately dealt with other services that want $150.00 just to pull in your driveway and you get a tech that has three months of training (if your lucky) and spends most his time making phone calls to some tech support trying to troubleshoot your problem and trying to upsell you some service or whatever while he’s waiting for an answer, the whole time your being charged $150.00 an hour. Rich came when he said he would, quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, completed the repair, all at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend D&R and would use them I the future.“

“Need to tell you all about this company. (Note I don't write many reviews.. but need to share this.)My project was a Sandy Storm recovery. Todd (the owner) quoted insulation and "Air Sealing" for my home as part of the NJ energy savings program. When the numbers were crunched I ended up paying almost twice the the other insulation estimates I got BUT for an infinitely higher quality product (better insulation in the walls, sprayed cellulose and venting in the attic, foam sealing of all cracks) that will return energy savings benefits for years after the rebate was applied. Based on my calculations I will get a return for the additional cost in the first two or three years (and every other year will be additional savings!!)Their expertise is not just in Insulation and Energy Savings but in all things HVAC and general renovation. My previous GC turned out to be a shyster in my opinion and Todd made himself available to help with multiple critical tasks delivering high quality in a timely and fair and friendly fashion.I recommend this company highly without hesitation and am available as contactable reference if anyone has questions.“

“Had the best experience today with First Degree. After a warranty company tried to scam us, we got a second opinion from First Degree and were able to revive our unit to get us through the season. “I don't typically leave reviews, especially when I am paying for a rendered service and that service is adequately provided. BUT, If I could leave a rating greater than 5 Star for Mike C. & PELCO HVAC, I would in this instance. I had an issue with what I had thought was condensation. I called Mike, he immediately responded, and diagnosed a leaking coil within my system unit. I was provided with a quote, Mike arrived as stated, removed my old unit and replaced it with a new furnace. I know some aspects of the job became more difficult than expected, but I was not hit with a typical industry "extra". The old furnace was disposed, my utility room left clean, we shook hands and I received the invoice via email...none of this payment before I leave stuff. Mike and the team at PELCO are professional and easy to work with.“

“i called them blind except for the few ratings which were 5 stars. they came quickly as they had a hole in their schedule. (the next customer called to ensure they were coming.) the owner knew what he was doing, and diagnosed and repaired the issues including a blown fuse, bad capacitor, low refrigerant and disconnected thermostat wires, without trying to sell me new equipment. And, the price was more than fair! there is no property damage although there could have been. and, they cleaned up. i am now a client.Services: A/C system repair“
