“Long time service company we have been with them for general maintenance. But recently had our 100 year old boiler oil system converted to gas . These guys are top mechanics so great to communicate with , they explain everything how it all works . All the guys are super courteous. The job was super clean I was expecting bigger mess . Job came out flawless . Girls in the office also on top of everything kept in touch with me to let me know day by day schedule with the guys . I tell everyone you get what you pay for . “My need for exploring renovation options started when I became unable to use my bathroom because it was too small to reconfigure for wheelchair access. After receiving many estimates, I chose CGT. Not only did they propose the lowest cost, but the owner was eager to understand my situation and determine exactly what I needed. I was torn between trying to finish out the season with my existing system or replacing the entire system now as I knew it would definitely have to be replaced before next summer. “For the first summer in years, the second floor is cool enough to sleep comfortably. I'd gotten 3 quotes on new air conditioning and went with Price's Plumbing. Chris suggested a separate upstairs arrangement--mini splits--and I sure am glad I tried them. One company was going to put units on the inside wall of each bedroom and go through the exterior wall for each one. Chris managed to put my entire apparatus up in the attic, with a small vent in each ceiling for the cool air to come through. I keep it set at 80, and still it is pleasant upstairs. With the extreme heat so far this summer, this was a wonderful idea, and Chris not only did a masterful job of installing the minisplits--when my main AC quit suddenly, he came out immediately to see what was wrong and fixed the problem, even though I know he was being run ragged with everyone needing AC at once.
