After seeing numerous specialists, under going countless tests and various treatments. I was told my hearing loss was permanent and due to an autoimmune disorder causing inflammation on my trigeminal nerve. I resorted to wearing a hearing aid in attempt to balance out my senses and drown out the debilitating tinnitus. At 47 years old, I was at a low point. I felt like my body was failing me.
