“Call Balance of Nature Pest Control, period. Don't waste time like we did calling any other wildlife control company. ...getting answering machines, no call backs, outrageous prices, can't get out for another week etc. . That's how we ended up with a raccoon in our garage and really stressed out for 5 very long days!! After 5 days of calling around, we connected with a company that came out (We didn't know Balance of Nature yet) and removed the raccoon and charged us $750. Wanted another $300 for inspection and then $2500 to clean out and disinfect the garage and loft. Called another company that wanted $300 inspection and $5,000 to clean and disinfect the garage and loft. We decided we would have to tackle the job ourselves. The raccoon had wrecked the garage, there was 5 days of feces and urine on the floor and personal items, and chewed up insulation all over the floor. We called to rent a dumpster, ordered disinfectant, needed to rent or buy a vac with a special filter and buy or rent a good sprayer. It would cost us around $600. Not a bad price but a big job for seniors. Thankfully, we gave it one last try and called BALANCE OF NATURE. Spoke to Jerry, the owner, and he came out the next day to do a full inspection for $99 which would go towards the price if we hired his company. We were impressed with his knowledge of the situation, understanding of what needed to be done, and the competitive price...$1,000. The day after that Jerry and John came out to do the job. These two guys are the hardest workers you will ever meet. They were so patient and upbeat as we labored over what we would throw out and what we could keep and get disinfected, Within 4 hours they cleaned out our 2 car garage and large loft and filled a trailer and van with items to be thrown out, then disinfected the walls, floors, railings, stairs to the loft, refrigerator, bikes, golf clubs, and tools etc. Our garage looks like we just moved in. We are feeling like we're back to normal for the first time in a week! We can't thank you enough, Jerry and John, for a job well done.“
