My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!“

It was our first time being away from Maddy and we felt at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Highly recommend Le Pooch chateau!“

We used their remote private training since we weren't in NY and it was still better than other trainers we've worked with in person. They're easily the most organized, they have amazing content, and they give you training tools that are easy to generalize to new issues that may pop up. Highly recommend“

107 W 86th St #14D, New York“I can't recommend Deanne enough. 4 months ago, I adopted a 5-month old puppy who had no prior training and severe leash reactivity to both dogs and people. Through working with Deanne, he now has a strong foundation in training and can walk through busy NYC streets with few issues. He also LOVES Deanne and her training sessions. Her love for dogs is so evident. Deanne focuses not only on dog training, but also on giving owners the tools they need to continue training in between sessions. She writes detailed summaries with instructions on how to progress further, and I have learned so much about dog training and behavior through her, even as a lifetime dog owner. Deanne uses a science-backed positive reinforcement approach which has been great in helping my nervous rescue pup build confidence. She constantly continues her learning through research and courses, and her passion for dogs shines through in her training. I feel so lucky to have found Deanne!“

Peter and his team were absolutely amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a true passion for training dogs. I was provided with report card updates weekly during the board and train program so I could see Mayas progress. Maya came back a whole new dog and I now have full confidence in her knowing she was trained by Fido Fidelis. I wouldn’t send anyone anywhere else but Fido Fidelis for your dog training needs!“

Brought in my almost 3 years old anxious dachshund there for overreacting behaviors and was hoping for some guidance. Jennifer really touched on everything, explaining to me why such behaviors would happen, and how could address it moving forward. Highly recommend!“

498 Kinderkamack Rd, River Edge“I'm conflicted about recommending Behavior Plus because it was not a good experience for me & my dog but I do believe that they are credible and the right way of training. I got caught up maybe as a distraction because after the second private session I didn't feel like there was investment in us. I paid up front for eight 90 minute private sessions. At the 2nd or 3rd session I asked about it because our sessions were 45 minutes. Frank said oh don't worry about that you'll be around a lot more than 8 sessions - We're going to get him into some classes with our trainers and may even get him off leash. I can't push him more than he can do and right now that's 45 minutes. I was impressed & excited! But, after 8 sessions of a 45-50 minute walk, I was told that's the last session, keep in touch. I feel like Oliver was jipped and we were just incidental in a busy time because they were moving locations. I also felt a bit disrespected instead of being guided. I'm very upset because in the end I didn't help my dog. It actually left me in tears.“

We love how they let our large dog roam around after his bath instead of keeping him crated up. He always smells fantastic after. They do a great job cleaning his ears and cutting his nails. You can tell they really care for the dogs and like what they do. Would recommend to all looking for any grooming service. We feel so comfortable leaving our dog here for a few hours. They offer optional payment through an app, and notify you when your dog needs to be picked up. Puppy Tale Lodge also ensures all vaccinations are up to date which we really appreciate.“

They have reasonable pricing for daycare and I love that they actively post their daycare pups on instagram so I can see what my baby girl is up to. Additionally, I love that there aren’t too many dogs at this location so it is a safe number for playgroups. Thank you to Ashley, and all of the wonderful staff members for making us feel so welcome! ❤️“

443 W 16th St, New York“My husband and I could not recommend Dog City enough. Our Golden Doodle, Carlos, began going to “school” at Dog City starting at 6 months old during the week and sometimes stay at “The Inn” for boarding. Carlos was so happy and excited to go every day and loved his Dog City family. Even better, we were residents at The Tate in Chelsea and benefited from Carlos being picked up and dropped off each day. We felt so happy and calm to be able to have Carlos there while we were at work or traveling. Dog City gave us daily report cards with pictures and updates that we always looked forward to! Carlos made many friends, both dog and human, and Carlos is a better socialized dog because of his time spent at Dog City.
Our experience with Dog City was truly great and we would recommend it to anyone looking for day care or boarding for their dog in NYC.“

210 E 85th St, New York“I met Elizabeth in 2016 walking my Apple on e85th street. She told me about Paws on Park and we needed a walker. I think we started a few weeks later. Elizabeth is the best. Apple loved her daily walks and I knew Apple was in good hands. The paws reports we received after the walk was a highlight in my day. Elizabeth also stayed w Apple for a week during thanksgiving week in 2016. I was nervous leaving Apple but I knew she was in good hands. Apple had a great week. Elizabeth and Paws on Park are the best dog walking business in nyc. I would not trust anyone else. Thank you so much Elizabeth for caring for Apple!!!“
“My dogs have been coming here since they were pups. They're always very accommodating and have cute events for pictures with the dogs. The staff is always friendly and remembers my dogs even if I haven't visited in a while. They also take pictures and posts on their facebook page daily for all to view. Only improvement of the place would be if they had a live camera so I can peek in on my dogs midday because I miss them!“
