About Packman to the Rescue, K9 Solutions & Coaching
Packman to the Rescue, K9 Solutions & Coaching is a dog rehabilitation service that focuses on training dog owners to become effective leaders for their canine companions. The business is led by Pat, who recognizes the importance of the owner's energy and body language in shaping a dog's behavior. Pat's approach emphasizes that dogs primarily understand and trust humans based on the owner's emotional state. If a dog senses any emotional instability, they may not trust or follow the owner, leading them to assert themselves as the pack leader. Therefore, Pat provides guidance on how owners can adjust their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to become more confident and effective leaders. Clients have reported significant improvements in their dogs' behavior after just one session with Pat. He helps owners understand how a dog's brain works and provides recommendations for daily rituals to keep their pets calm and properly rewarded. Patience and consistent effort are key, as the process can take months, but Pat is encouraging and celebrates the owners' victories along the way. Overall, Packman to the Rescue, K9 Solutions & Coaching is praised for its effective and holistic approach to dog rehabilitation, focusing on empowering owners to become better leaders for their furry friends.
Pat has been an amazing mentor as we navigated the adolescence stage with our mini Dachshund as first time dog parents. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous which we appreciated greatly. We attended all of the group puppy classes at larger pet stores and did not see the behavior changes we were looking for until we started sessions with Pat. We loved that he allowed us to bring in other family members who also spend a lot of time with our dog so they could be trained on how to appropriately handle him too. Working with Pat has given us confidence and optimism that we needed as first time dog parents. 10/10 recommend.
So far, I’ve had a great experience working with him. From the very beginning, I really appreciated how he took the time to explain how dogs think it gave me so much clarity in understanding Apollo and how to work with him.
One thing that really stands out is that he’s not just training the dog he’s training the owner. He’s been teaching me how to better understand my dog so we can both be successful and actually enjoy the process together.
Today was my fourth session, and I’m already seeing real progress, which makes me very happy. Everything he teaches truly works when I follow it consistently. He gives you a solid foundation, but also adapts...read full review
I have a rescue Cane Corso mix. She does not know her size when playing with other dogs.. I saw all the worried faces around me when I was at the dog park and she could fit a (dog) Poodle’s neck in her mouth comfortably without hurting the dog. Anybody would panic watching this playing out. My dog intended no harm. She just wanted to play. I have been looking for the right dog trainer to help me figure this out. How can I teach my dog to play nicely with other dogs. I was really scared. I reached out to The Madison Dog Resort. And Victor put me in contact with Pat, their Dog Trainer, Packman to the Rescue. After my first interview with Pat, he gave me some instructions...read full review
