I contacted Paul Koelling& Asso. to verify the boundaries of my OC, NJ property because of adjacent property construction. Since it was a very small request and the neighboring demolition and construction couldn't begin for months, I didn't ask for an immediate response. Since I drive by Paul's office regularly on Shore Rd. in Linwood, I stopped in one morning. The office folks were very pleasant to me just dropping in unannounced. Surprisingly, they had already done the research on my property. They had the previous plot plan (20+ years old) and created a file for my case! Paul greeted me and he was knowledgeable about which was my property and he planned to visit my property to verify my boundaries for me. He did that and marked the corners and called to let me know where I could place a temporary fence to control construction debris. He was fair and very business-like and I would definitely consult Paul M. Koelling & Asso. again.
I would definitely recommend this survey company … there was a discrepancy with some of the previous markers and our deed. (The property is irregularly shaped) Paul took the time to research the “history” from the previous surveys and city records. He made sure everything was ACCURATE. (They surveyed from several other nearby properties to be sure) The survey drawing of the structures on the lot he prepared was very impressive with the “detail”. Bruce S never sued me.....he never turned his paperwork from my firm into the City.....3 years later he contacted me for changes because the City was fining him for not turning in his paperwork.....also, I also had to request for.payment for over 6 months from Bruce.....he is an amateur builder and completely disorganized...
