I have over 30 years of experience in the construction business. You can count on one hand the amount of professional, experienced, honest, and hard working contractors that care about their customers. Joseph David Roofing is the first one I think of. Mark helped us replace our roof, gutters, and trimmed our windows with vinyl. Mark's number one goal was to complete a high quality installation that my wife and I are proud to have on our house. There is an unusual area of my roof that needed special attention, Mark didn't disappear like most other contractor would, he returned to correct the area until it was right, very respectful. JDR installed a new roof on my cape cod style house in Garwood last week. In this age where it is so hard to find excellent home improvements contractors with fair rates, Joseph David Roofing exceeded all my expectations. The customer service was awesome! Mark David (partner/owner) started by dropping off brochures with samples after I accepted his very fair estimate, and then he brought back larger samples of the colors that we liked best. He offered to bring more samples if needed, made me feel welcome to reach out with questions, and always answered questions in a timely manner. Unlike other contractors who estimated my roof, Mark demonstrated that he is an expert with all the available products. One time I called with a question and he was actually in another state at the manufacture's workshop learning about new products. He is always researching the latest products instead of staying in a comfort zone using the same old product all the time. He insisted on using the underlayment made by the same manufacturer as the roof shingles, instead of trying to save a few hundred dollars on inferior tar paper, so that our warranty is valid without a doubt. The other contractors didn't tell me that! Mark was on site the whole time the work was being done. His crew was very friendly and hard working. They paid close attention to all the small details which turn a very good job into excellent job such as: painting the vent pipes to match the roof, using the best flashing products around the vent pipes/fan vent/chimney, correcting concrete work on the chimney, and installing a chimney cap. They cleaned up all the debris quickly and Mark made sure the dumpster was picked up as soon as possible. I highly recommend Joseph David Roofing without a doubt!
