“A Plus construction was a wonderful company to work with for our home improvements. Roman explained everything that was to be done and his team of workers were excellent. The workers came early everyday and worked non stop each day. Our bathroom was remodeled for safety and updated shower/ sink/ toilet and tile work and the work was done meticulously and looks and functions perfectly. AC unit and attic stairs was done perfectly. Electric upgrade was done. Three windows were replaced also. All work has passed all town inspections. When an inspector praises the work - that rates a hundred “stars”. All work areas were left clean after each day of work and all crew members were friendly. I am truly happy with all the projects that Roman and his crew have done to our home and very grateful for their hard work to make everything perfect.“

UPDATE (Jan 2026): When we started to experience a leak around a vent stack on our roof, we called Gikas to come inspect the problem area as the work was still under warranty. Soon I was in touch with Ilkan who assured me the problem would be taken care of ASAP. Sure enough, as soon as the weather permitted, he had a crew onsite to address the leak. We are grateful for Ilkan’s and Gikas’s quick response even though it had been 5 years since the roofing job was originally completed.“

Everything was clear, friendly, and up front. “For someone wanting to hire craftsmen to remodel a bathroom for the first time, I felt a bit overwhelmed. There were lots of decisions to be made about tiling, vanities, sinks, overall design philosophy.

Fortunately, Billy, Gianna and the crew were elite at settling down my worries. We took it a step at a time and they were able to accommodate some of my limitations, such as me not being able to pickup up my bathtub, vanity and toilet with my small car. They took time to arrange a pickup on my behalf even though the project was not to start for a couple of weeks. Now that's looking after the customer!

Once the demo started, it was a very smooth process. I felt like I was briefed/consulted every step of the way and other specific experts such as the sheetrock and glass contractor got involved to put it all together. On a personal note, it made me admire even more the meticulous process of remodeling any interior room, much less a bathroom as well as the versatility and know-how necessary to tile, make the plumbing and electrical work, all while adhering to what the client wants. It's hard work and no doubt took many years and experience to get to this point of expertise. As someone who floated the idea of DIY-ing certain aspects, I can look back and know that it was 100% worth it to hire professionals that know what they're doing.

“We have nothing but rave reviews for Proven Contracting! We planned out the entire roofing process with Ryan, the owner, who was super responsive, helpful and went out of his way to answer my questions and ensure I was educated on the whole process. He even helped us pick out shingle colors the night before our choice was due! I met our foreman Tito about a week before the job because he drove all the way out to our place to do his due diligence and assess the property so he came prepared with his crew the day of (we already knew we were in really good hands at this point). Tito and his crew were warm, accommodating, meticulous and went out of their way to ensure the job was done right. We have a large roof with lots of details, were on a tight move-in timeline and were expecting rain the next day so Ryan sent out about 16 guys to ensure they could complete the (meticulous) job all in one day. Even my GM said he was shocked at how good and efficient and focused they were. On top of that, we encountered some last minute challenges (it's an old house) and Tito and some of his guys stayed until it was pitch black out making sure they could fix the issue - which was not of their own making - and make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible. Most of all, they were clear, consistent and considerate communicators - Tito kept me posted on every development along the way and took the time to explain all the details to me. As if this isn't enough and you aren't convinced that Proven Contracting is the best option in the NJ area, they also offered me the cheapest estimate out of the three companies we were recommended.
