I've been going to Yunmi for magic straight for 14 years, from when the salon was in Ktown in Manhattan. That says it all. My hair is healthier than ever after all these years. Yunmi is amazing, she will devote all her attention to giving you a great result, and the experience is relaxing (no pun intended); almost meditative. Pricing is beyond fair, a downright bargain. Comparable treatments are double or triple in other places.

I have been a loyal customer of Oz Hair since 2012, starting with their NYC location and now going to their NJ salon. I get Japanese magic straight and I am extremely happy with the results. The process takes roughly 3 hours, and after the service you can't wash your hair for 72 hours, but when this is done, my hair dries perfectly straight with no need to blowdry or straighten. My hair is also healthy and smooth and super shiny and it stays that way until it grows out.
While everyone's hair is different and I can't say whether Japanese magic straight will work for another person, I can speak for my results which are wonderful. 5 STARS!!!

Oz Salon owner and stylist Yumi, is the best at Japanese Magic Straight.I’ve been going to Oz for Japanese Straightening service for about a decade before they moved to NJ (previous location was in Korea Town in Manhattan NYC).I remembered Oz Salon used to offer $50 discount for Japanese Straight, and the salon would be packed with loyal costumers.
