The Southeast Asian Martial Arts Academy (SEAMAA) is a welcoming and inclusive environment where students of all ages can learn self-defense, build confidence, and achieve their fitness goals. Guru Ed, along with Guru Andy, provides excellent instruction that preserves the legacy and tradition of the practice. Both instructors are amazing role models and create a community where the environment is welcoming and safe. The classes offer a chill atmosphere with no egos, allowing students to work at their own pace. SEAMAA is recognized for its quality, family-like community, and ability to help students develop skills that last a lifetime. Many students appreciate the guidance and discipline, which fosters a sense of fierceness and friendships among classmates. Those who attend classes like Muay Thai and Silat find that Guru Ed genuinely cares about teaching proper technique and helping students grow as martial artists.
I never thought I'd say this, but I actually look forward to working out now! Before doing Muay Thai here, I genuinely hated exercise, but Guru Ed has completely changed my perspective. He makes every session fun and engaging, and his positive energy is contagious.
Guru Ed has a real gift for motivating people and creating an environment where you want to show up and give your best.
Joining SEAMAA is one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Guru Ed and Coach Andy are both so incredibly supportive and patient. Muay Thai has been the highlight of my week! I’ve made so many friends and have learned so much. I hope I’m able to continue to go here forever ☺️
As someone who recently started Muay Thai with no previous experience I can say that my knowledge on the skill has improved tremendously thanks to the wonderful work of guru Ed and coach Andy who are very nice people. Thanks to them I’ve fallen In love with the sport and i’m immensely grateful for them and the community they have built around SEAMAA.
