Lambertville Barber Shop is a highly recommended, quality barbershop with a friendly atmosphere. Customers enjoy the great haircuts by skilled barbers, especially Joe, who is known for his excellent work and good conversation. The shop offers a traditional, old-fashioned vibe that keeps clients coming back for over 20 years. It is a place where good service and a welcoming environment go hand in hand.
I have been coming here for years. There are no appointments so dont be surprised if there is a line. This is as old school of a barber shop as you can find anywhere. You will walk in the door and either read a magazine or you can take part in the conversation is happening at the time with the barber and any other customers who are there already. It is an excellent place to go and just relax while you wait to get your haircut.I have only gone here and will only go here so long as the shop remains under the current barber or until the rest of my hair decides to jump ship. Even then, I will certainly still be stopping in for the conversations.
Great little shop. Hours as posted on the door - Monday: closed Tuesday: 9-5 Wednesday: 9-5 Thursday: 9-5 Friday: 9-5 Saturday: 8-1 Sunday: closed It's a little one chair shop, so a line can take some time if there is a line. I check through the window before going in. Barber is great -- good conversation and always takes his time with you. I keep my hair medium, a pretty standard business cut, and I'm never disappointed whether I let it grow a bit in the winter or take it tighter in the summer heat.
