I've been there several times to get heel taps put on. Until just recently it was something that was done as a walk-in request which took less than five minutes. The usual charge was $3. Then since about two months ago they were only doing the work as a drop-off which wasn't convenient for me. I figured it was a workload issue coinciding when I stopped by. This past Friday I again stopped by hoping they weren't that busy and they'd be able to tap some new boots I was wearing. When I asked if he had time to do the work he stated, "$10 for immediate work". I thought I had misheard, "$10?" I asked. A quick "Yep" was replied. "That's okay. Thanks. Really odd store. Walked in there for a pair of taps on one pair of shoes, store was empty and owner was on phone watching a movie, he told me I would need to come back in three days to pick them up.! For a pair of taps that takes like 3 minutes max to put on. Odd. Stay away.
