The prescription he writes for my glasses have always resulted in progressive lenses that are accurate. I very much appreciate this.“

“I have been wearing glasses for over two decades and JC Penny optical is the best for glasses. I have tried everywhere and the lenses are always the thinnest for my prescription (which is pretty blind). I have tried Lens Crafters twice and consistently get strong night glare from their lenses and much thicker lenses. At both places I selected comparable products for the lenses, and JC Penny was so much better. JC Penny has their own lab and they do a fantastic job!! Lens Crafters is about an hour, much more expensive, and lenses are not as good. They have a pretty good frame selection at this location as well. The staff is AMAZING, very helpful getting the best price. They are also great at adjusting and fitting glasses. I would STRONGLY recommend JC Penny optical without hesitation. Only complaint is they don't have a nice selection of sun glasses frames, and only seasonally.“

“So I have worn glasses for about 25 years now. I have been to just about all the eyeglass retailers in Ocean County. In that time no one has ever steered me to a "larger" frame. I never knew such a thing existed until I tried on a pair here and immediately noticed the difference. This may be my first pair of glasses that actually fit my big head! Thanks to the sales person that educated me and helped me pick out the right glasses. She was awesome! Great selection of designer glasses. When it comes down to it, all retailers charge about the same for the lenses. It has been my experience that the better quality the frame, the longer they last.“
