I have been going to Kim for years. She has magically made me every color under the sun and I have never been disappointed. She has styled me (hair and makeup) for everything from my wedding, baby shower, and gave me all the retro vibes for both my band photo shoot and music video. Not to mention all the hair cuts, blonding, going red, going dark, and extensions! Her talent is unmatched, and the love she puts into her work and clients shows as soon as you sit in her chair.

All the other artists are equally as amazing. Sarah's custom extensions service is out of this world! Sitting in her chair feels like meeting an old friend you haven't seen in forever! I have also gotten root touch up from Morgan along with a blowout and style that lasted all week! I've had the pleasure of knowing Gina for years as well and have always seen her clients beaming after their service. Thrives newest stylist Lexi is so sweet and a perfect addition to the studio.

Aside from how amazingly talented each stylist is, they are all also very educated in hair health, and will never compromise your hair. The stylist really work as a team and support each other as well as their clients wants and needs.

The experience at Thrive Beauty Studio speaks for itself! As soon as I walk in I am welcomed with open arms, and I always leave feeling refreshed and like I spent a day with my favorite girlfriends.

“Took 7 years to find a good barber for my son. We literally went from barber to barber with terrible cuts. He has very thick hair and nobody seemed to be able to cut it without it looking like a rat had chewed on it. Then we went to Fade Den and all I can see it 5 stars. These guys know how to cut hair and they are quick. So I can recommend them 150% my son is so happy. Please don't go anywhere Fade Den! You are the best in NJ.“

“Oh, Dally is real sweetheart. She listens to you and will give you what she believes would look good. Even if she feels it would look bad, she'll do it.

Requested style: I like to keep my hair short. Dally is great at listening to what I want and I've never left unhappy.

Specialities: I like to experiment with different hair colors. Currently, it's blue and purple. If I know I want it colored, I'll say "let's play," and it's usually her pick. She'll ask about certain colors, and I'll give her my feedback. I've yet to leave unhappy.

“I made an appointment for a haircut with the owner, Jila, after reading all of her high reviews on Yelp and Google. I have been mainly cutting my own hair since Covid, as my old salon in Bergen County permanently closed. Jila was very warm, accommodating, and sweet to talk to during my appointment. I showed her two pictures, which to my eye were similar, but she explained were very different cuts. So together we selected one of the two cuts based on my time to devote to upkeep and my own preferred styling methods (curl, shake, and go!). To my excitement, the cut came out amazing and looked EXACTLY like the picture!! I've only had the cut for two days and have already received several compliments, including one from a stranger waiting on me at an ice cream shop. And most surprisingly, the cut looked even better the next day! I rarely write reviews, because I just can't find the time, but I had to share my experience and give 5 stars to Jila!
