“If you live off of symmes road in Manalapan, NJ this is a great location next to Wegmans off of route 9.

They have good prices and not only do cleaning. They were able to fix and tailor some clothes of mine. I also have brought larger blankets there, no problem.

“I had a lovely white dress that had a stain in it for years! (My fault for not taking care of it sooner…) I wish I had a before picture to show how the stain was so set in. But here is the after picture.

I brought it to them and they reviewed the clothing together with me. They cautioned me upfront that the stain may not come out since it was so old, and asked if I still wanted to proceed. I knew it would be a long shot but they worked their magic and got it fully out.

I can’t remember if they also do tailoring, i’ve only used them for cleaning so far. I have to ask them the next time I stop by. I have a pair of jeans and 2 purses where buttons have fallen off and that prevents me from being able to wear them. I’m hoping they will be able to help me with this too.“

“I brought my wedding dress here to be hemmed at the last minute. I had made an appointment with a seamstress in another dry-cleaners for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, only to have the seamstress be on vacation when I showed up. I needed my dress back in a week, and tried several places, all with seamstresses on vacation.

When I walked into Bright Star and they told me the seamstress wouldn't be back until next week, I sobbed. It wouldn't be enough time to get my dress hemmed. The lovely woman running the dry-cleaners asked if I would be okay with her pinning it and getting it to the seamstress to do as a rush. Not only was I okay with it, she saved the day. The dress was perfectly hemmed and pressed and Bright Star really pulled through for me.“
