I met Joe in 2007 as my first bass guitar teacher. Right away he made me feel at ease and confident. He was very patient and cooperative and taught me how to play my favorite songs right away while understanding the instrument. 18 years later I am still part of the band he formed with other students. He continues to lead and teach us and is a key member of our band. This place is awesome! Joe Salk is highly knowledgeable and expertly teachs at all student levels and on multiple instruments. He has formed us into a viable band and continues to provide guidance (and bass-playing support) in making us a tighter group. Also, the fully equipped studio is a fantastic place to learn and rehearse. Rock on Joe!

Absolute amazing teacher been going to him for many years at point almost around 10, and I’ve learned so much from him. From beginner to intermediate to advanced he follows all the way through with giving you the explanation the whys the hows and they different way it can be arranged, his main thing is “it’s not what you play it’s how you play it”… I couldn’t agree more. Truly makes sure you understand what you’re looking to learn and he does what most can’t and that’s make it fun interesting and all about what YOU WANT TO LEARN.
