Joe envisioned a complete redesign of the room that neither myself (or any other contractor) had considered that made the most use of the existing space, while making it more user friendly. I now have an open concept kitchen, with two islands and much more storage, and it feels like the space has tripled in size. Joe put so much thought into how my family would use the room when developing his design, and his input was invaluable throughout this process. He even connected me to the contractor who remodeled the room, and checked in with me as construction took place. I highly recommend JoSo Studio for all your redesign needs!“

“Updated review: Alpha Moving contacted me after this review and are in the process of rectifying the issues. In terms of the missing suitcase, there was a misunderstanding on my part, so they will be returning the suitcase. They will also file a claim so that my chair can be replaced. In light of their prompt response, I am updating my review to give them 5 stars. We all make mistakes (clearly I did in my initial review), and it is refreshing to see a company which takes these issues seriously and handles everything courteously and professionally. The move itself was professionally organized and completed, and I was satisfied by the speed of the packing and delivery. Given the company's response to my issues, I would now recommend them highly and will utilize again in the future. Original review for reference: I paid for 3 movers and a flat rate for all day move from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom ($2700 flat rate and I tipped $600). This price is reasonable, but my review is about how they broke my Eames lounge chair ($6300) and did not cover via insurance (they only cover $1 per pound per item). They also stole my Rimowa luggage - I told them to put it in the front closet, but then noticed 2 days after the move that my front closet did not have my luggage, only leftover packing supplies.“

“Carol is amazing! We highly recommend her for home staging and interior design. We brought Carol in to stage our apartment for sale. The apartment at the time was completely empty, and it was hard for potential buyers to visualize the space without furniture. We gave Carol short notice and a limited budget. She was able to improvise and simply make it happen!She quickly assessed the place, gave helpful pointers (small fix-its, etc), chose the paint colors, selected furnishings from her shop and through her various connections, and organized the deliveries. “This was my first time working with The New York Closet Company and it has been nothing but a first rate experience! I needed a project done pretty quickly as I had to move. At the first meeting, I explained my needs and my design concept. Bruce immediately took measurements and made great suggestions that reflected his experience and even improved upon my ideas. On the spot he drew up a great sketch that showed that he knew what I needed and wanted. After some minor modifications and final approval, they worked quickly to construct the unit in their shop and then came to my apartment to assemble and put it in place. Yehuda and his team completed this project in one day. They took care to cover everything and when finished cleaned up after themselves. “We were having an apartment painted with lots of art on the walls. We really didn’t want just anyone moving and replacing them. Through an art restorer we had worked with previously we came to I-Level.The I-Level team first came and surveyed the work to be done and provided an estimate. Then once engaged, spent a full day carefully taking down and protecting our art, moving it to another apartment within our building for safe keeping and then another day replacing everything exactly as it had been after the apartment was repainted. When we returned to our apartment…it was like magic. We are very grateful for their care and service.“
