Came for 4 simple braids - straight backs. The parts are crooked and uneven, too much product used in a goofy way (she put braiding gel after the braid was finished - it dried and looks terrible), and she laughed when I told her she was pulling too tight.2 stars because the price is fair.

I only have Alice do my hair. She has been doing my hair for 27 years. I don't trust no one else but her, she does a fabulous job everytime I go. So if you want it done right ask for Alice

I randomly chose this salon as I'm new to JC and needed braids done. Pls keep in mind my review is only of the person that braided my hair (name unknown as there was a language barrier). I chose a simple style and I received a below mediocre experience. Too much hair was used which left my head heavy and neck strained, cornrows were twisted at an angle vs being flat on my scalp and the biggest turn off was the burning of the hair, I didn't realize this was still a practice. I could go bk and try a different stylist but I think I'll keep searching until I'm able to replace my stylist in NY who is by far THE BEST!!!!
