Ayokari Fashions is the best hands down!! Atecia is so sweet, patient, and very attentive to detail. She completed many alterations for myself, my bridesmaids, and even my father in law. My bridesmaids loveeeeeed their dress by time she was finished with them. She made me a garter and it was beyond amazing! Her prices are very reasonable as well. Do not look anywhere else! When we needed help with our foundation at our family home in Brooklyn and we knew we could only turn to Paul Best Construction as they have helped us with several projects over the years.
They helped us a replace our rotted roof on the garage, replacing all the joists and reinforcing the structure from years of water damage. They helped us run electrical from the house to the backyard to the garage, giving us lighting and outlets where we hadn't before. They helped us replace electrical panels and managed the permitting process for us. My neighbor needed a new concrete side walk that was almost 120 feet long and about 3 feet wide, they made it seem like a breeze.
There was heavy concern when it came to our foundation and moister and the smell and mold but our fears were alleviated with the reassurance of the Paul's Team. They explained the job needed and they delivered 100%.

Absolutely loved my braids, didn't take as long as I thought they would. Loved talking to the owner as she did my hair. Some areas were a little too tight but I have a super sensitive scalp so I don't blame her. Can't wait to go back for another style!

This is the oldest black owned business in Irvington. My barber Phil is a great person as well as on point with the haircut. No foolishness, cursing, crazy music or up and coming rappers here. Great place to get my haircut. I am a teacher so we have to be on point all the time and the service I get is phenomenal. I have ten other educators who are not from the neighborhood coming to this shop because the owner and the barbers are professional and curteous.
I took my son and nephew and they were both very satisfied with their cuts.they really take the time to give each customer a haircut having you look like a new mint and a very important person. Prices are also decent and plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend a 100 percent.

Hair type: I have 4c hair..The Owner washed/dried my hair ..She braided and two strand twisted my hair as well.. I wasnt expecting to pay $100 because I'm not sure if that's the going price or not for a natural hair style. However when she finished my hair it was worth every penny she asked for.. I got so many compliments it was CRAZY! I went to work and one of the residents was on the phone explaining how good my hair look that he actually asked me to stand in front of him to get a closer look because after he finishes his program he wants the same hairstyle as me from her! I couldn't even walk down the street without strangers complimenting my hair..Im not even making this up.. She Did her Thang Yall!
