“After living in Hopewell for close to 30 years, my wife and I became keenly aware of the fact that there was extensive exterior repairs required to our home. We recognized the importance of working with a building company that would be able to inspect and diagnose issues related to our cedar shake exterior, trim and fascia, roofing, and painting. After exploring several construction and restoration companies, we decided to go with Baxter Construction given their reputation for top notch, project management and a wide range of expertise in many of the skill sets we would require. We were very impressed with their project management from beginning to end of what turned out to become a 6 month project. In working with Baxter, we were additionally comforted by the dedicated staff carpenters that had been with the company for many years. As the weeks and months progressed, Baxter were able to diagnose problems and perform remediations responsibly. We were kept up to date with frequent progress reports from the project manager, and grew to admire the carpenters who explained the details to us along the way. Given the need for carpentry, roofing and painting, Baxter was able to coordinate the process efficiently. This was a challenge given the numerous Covid related supply chain issues we ware experiencing. In short, we are extremely happy that we went with Baxter and would highly recommend them.Service: Remodelling“

“Jaime was such a pleasure to work with and I can’t recommend him enough for any deck work. I needed major repairs on my deck and needed supports as the deck was originally built with none and no permits. There were several estimates to do the repairs and Jaime was the most reasonable cost. So happy we went with him! He literally had to take the deck apart and rebuild it after putting in the new supports so essentially he built a new deck with same materials. It looks better than ever. Him and his wife were also very communicative with the deck approval process which was a lot of back and forth but they kept me posted every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending him, and he’s a very hard worker!“
