The owner is very receptive to feedback. They have surveillance cameras, which make me feel reassured. I love their name. It’s very charming and goes along with Hopewell Borough’s aesthetic. The facility is very clean. They deliver your laundry that they wash and dry for you. I would highly recommend! It feels like I can be in a laundromat with style. (My place in the Borough is very quaint and my only complaint is that I don’t have a washer and dryer!)
I wish they’d get rid of the smoke shop next door though. It attracts some shady characters, so please be forewarned. Again, the cameras are reassuring.
I had the most fantastic experience getting my new hair cut, color, highlights, etc …at Friends Salon. This was such an excellent relaxing session and I was treated so special by Melissa. She took so much time in listening to me and understanding exactly what my hair needed and look I wanted. I cannot say enough kind words about this exceptional salon and I already booked my next appointment with Melissa. Everyone including her even as an owner of the salon was so down to earth and pleasant. After living in Hopewell for close to 30 years, my wife and I became keenly aware of the fact that there was extensive exterior repairs required to our home. We recognized the importance of working with a building company that would be able to inspect and diagnose issues related to our cedar shake exterior, trim and fascia, roofing, and painting. After exploring several construction and restoration companies, we decided to go with Baxter Construction given their reputation for top notch, project management and a wide range of expertise in many of the skill sets we would require. We were very impressed with their project management from beginning to end of what turned out to become a 6 month project. In working with Baxter, we were additionally comforted by the dedicated staff carpenters that had been with the company for many years. As the weeks and months progressed, Baxter were able to diagnose problems and perform remediations responsibly. We were kept up to date with frequent progress reports from the project manager, and grew to admire the carpenters who explained the details to us along the way. Given the need for carpentry, roofing and painting, Baxter was able to coordinate the process efficiently. This was a challenge given the numerous Covid related supply chain issues we ware experiencing. In short, we are extremely happy that we went with Baxter and would highly recommend them.Service: Remodelling
