“My condenser stopped working in the heat wave of 99 degree weather. Most places I called only wanted to sell me a new unit. My unit is 18 years old. They came same day, they were professional and honest. They would have had me up and running same day but my unit is old and the fan motor went and the part had to be ordered. The part came in next day and 48 hours later I was back and cool!!! The prices I thought were reasonable and fair. They were very honest with me about my unit on its way out which I agree. But they did everything in their power to save me money and buy time. Most units only last 20-25 years and the fact that they were not looking to spend my money was awesome. They did manage my expectations with price and longevity of the unit. Will definitely use them in the future. They are in business over 40 years so that speaks for itself!!!“

“I’ve finally found a heating/AC repair service I can trust and have confidence in. I’m a pretty good DIY home owner but sometimes you have to call in a professional. Rich is that guy, family owned, in the Monmouth county area for 32 years. Knowable, professional, courteous, reasonably priced. I’ve unfortunately dealt with other services that want $150.00 just to pull in your driveway and you get a tech that has three months of training (if your lucky) and spends most his time making phone calls to some tech support trying to troubleshoot your problem and trying to upsell you some service or whatever while he’s waiting for an answer, the whole time your being charged $150.00 an hour. Rich came when he said he would, quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, completed the repair, all at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend D&R and would use them I the future.“

“We have a commercial grade boiler in our house for radiant heat. We had an obvious gas leak in the burner somewhere and had to turn off our heat. After 2K for parts and 2 visits from another plumber could not find the leak, I called Jason. Jason and his apprentice showed up when another job finished early later in the afternoon and spent 2.5 hours disassembling, testing and checking each joint, valve and area for why it was still leaking. His tenacity and professionalism paid off... he found the leak coming from an uncommon place, warped/ wavy seals between the burner and the tank. Yes, we won't have heat again for a few days while waiting for the part (which will cost next to nothing) but I will call Jason in the future purely for his thoroughness, tenacity and desire to do the job correctly the first time. Not only is Carmine a great plumber, but Dan just left here and fixed my downstairs toilet within a 1/2 hour. I called Bailey Plumbing on a Sunday night and asked if someone can come on Monday morning for my leaking toilet downstairs. Not only did they squeeze me in, but Dan was here before noon. He was respectful and smart and it was done right and quickly. Thank you Dan.“

“i called them blind except for the few ratings which were 5 stars. they came quickly as they had a hole in their schedule. (the next customer called to ensure they were coming.) the owner knew what he was doing, and diagnosed and repaired the issues including a blown fuse, bad capacitor, low refrigerant and disconnected thermostat wires, without trying to sell me new equipment. “I don't typically leave reviews, especially when I am paying for a rendered service and that service is adequately provided. BUT, If I could leave a rating greater than 5 Star for Mike C. & PELCO HVAC, I would in this instance. I had an issue with what I had thought was condensation. I called Mike, he immediately responded, and diagnosed a leaking coil within my system unit. I was provided with a quote, Mike arrived as stated, removed my old unit and replaced it with a new furnace. I know some aspects of the job became more difficult than expected, but I was not hit with a typical industry "extra". The old furnace was disposed, my utility room left clean, we shook hands and I received the invoice via email...none of this payment before I leave stuff. Mike and the team at PELCO are professional and easy to work with.“
