I've been going to Spare Pair for so many years with my mother, kids and husband. I highly recommend it to everyone. A couple of times we tried going to other places that are closer to home, but nothing compares. I just went for an exam and to get new glasses yesterday. I truly appreciated the help of Ayo, Yennifer, Michelle the tech, Michelle for fitting and Dr. Michelle Alcala-Roth. They made me feel comfortable, cared for and heard. I can't wait to get my new glasses. Ayo was the perfect guide for helping me pick the most attractive frames. They're so cute...like jewelry. Thank you, team Spare Pair! I went here with complex needs that took a LOT of time, and everyone accommodated me without making me feel bad. Ayo in particular was absolutely AMAZING; she went above and beyond the expectations of her job (helping to pick out and sell frames and any extras for the lenses) while helping me. I never would've chosen the frames I ended up falling in love with if not for her compliments and explaining why they worked for me. Before that, I dithered quite a bit while trying to pick frames within my set parameters (which she also helped with). She also didn't bat an eyelid when I told her that I'm autistic - her immediate, chill response was to ask... read full review
