Our daughter was 5 when she started at Bluthner. Now, three short years later, under Katya and Gleb’s careful tutelage, she is playing pieces by Czerny, Scarlatti, and Rachmaninoff. Along the way, through recitals and competitions (including one at Carnegie Hall!), she’s learned not just beautiful music, but also self confidence, patience, sensitivity, discipline, and artistry. I’m grateful to have these extraordinary teachers in my daughter’s life, and I’d recommend them without reservations.
Our daughter started taking piano lessons at Bluthner School at the age of 3 years and 9 months. Katya nurtures the discipline and mindset needed to develop her musical skills while at the same time teaching her with joy, fun, and much laughter! Our daughter always looks forward to her piano class. For her, Ms. Katya is more than just a piano teacher; she is also her fashion idol! :) Bluthner School is very special for our family. We highly recommend it!
