I had had a last minute cancellation for my daughter with someone else and had looked up African braiding near me. Wonder hair braiding came up and I had called to see if I can get a same day appointment. The owner was very pleasant and agreed to let me come in after closing hours to get my daughter's hair done. She was efficient and my daughter loved her hair. She has definitely gained a loyal customer in me.

I met Wonder in July 2019 as a referral from my husband's cousin for an emergency hairdo for my baby shower. I reached out to her at around 10 pm the night before and she did my hair the very next day at 1pm for my shower that evening. I was 8.5 months pregnant and she only took two hours for the hairstyle - which was a BIG HIT at the party!!!! I am forever grateful for Wonder for helping me out that day... I've referred a few people including my sister and have been going to her since... Thank you Wonder - VERY satisfied customer ? ❤️

The salon was clean and although Wonder was a bit late, her assistant was there and prepared my hair. Wonder arrived just as she was done. I loved my goodness knotless braids and she did it fast. The process was painless, which was a first for me and the braids were not tight. I did my hair a month ago and forgot to give the review. I am definitely going back for future braids and will recommend friends and family.
