Definitely a go to place especially if you’re looking for some direction by an expert. Dana is super down to earth and encourages you to share exactly what your vision is. Multi talented, she’s able to bring whatever your vision is to life and is super good about making sure that you’re getting exactly what you want before you leave. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Great color and cut. I appreciate how Dana makes the visit personal. She asks what you want, and actually listens. She uses her expertise to create great color, and keeps notes for the next visit. Pleasant, relaxing ambiance. I've been coming for over a year and highly recommend this place.

Llaurel Salon and Day Spa in Hillsborough, NJ, Amwell Road is one of the best kept secret in Hillsborough...The salon is immaculately clean and well stocked...But, the ladies that work there is a rare rare breed...They are up to date on color, cuts and just about any service you need and they are the help you 150%...They go out of there way to know what you would like to accomplish and even consult each other on the best way to achieve it...I am speaking about Dana and Chelsey...They are great friends which absolutely shows the way they treat each other and you just love being in their company and a client as well...I have baby fine hair and go on for pages and pages of the bad experiences as well as hair cuts I have gotten...My hair has never behave better, the color so realistic and they DO NOT TRY TO SELL you on any service or product you do not want....Chelsey even let me take home a product to see how I liked it and told me bring it back will give you a new one which you can purchase...who does that? I have had salons talk me into highlights, low lights, treatments of all kinds...They suggested one time a condition treatment which I tried and have never been happier, strength, shine...the whole 9 yards wraped up in one 6 week condition treatment...and if all the above is not enough to try Llaurel...the tip is included in the price of your service...never need to look for cash when included in your final price...the house is quaint, and decorating with Eiffel towers and Paris memorabilia is very good taste...the huge back yard has a horse and alpacas which are so heartwarming to pull up and see them outside in the yard...a very friendly cat and sometimes a show dog and a little dog are walking around to give an overall homey atmosphere...GO AND TRY -- either lady wonderful...you tell them what you are trying to achieve and they will work with you until you are totally satisfied...Yes I love this place and it shows!! A Hillsborough resident and loyal customer forever...
