I was a client of Ann's a number of years ago and she was terrific. She took the time to really explain the whole process. She answered all my questions and was so friendly. I always felt like I was visiting a friend and not like I was going to an office. A friend of mine asked me if I could recommend someone for hair removal and immediately I thought of Ann. I'm sure my friend will get the same great results and feel as special as Ann made me feel during my sessions. The office is warm, cozy, accommodating, and you can't beat her rates.

Ann is a wonderful person AND electrologist! Reasonable pricing and very little scabbing or redness after sessions. Another note on electrology: this is perfect for ALL hair types on ANY part of the body. Laser is only semi-permanent (especially if your hair is very thick) and has actually made hair grow more on the face. I personally have not tried laser, but if that's the route you are going then make sure you do your research on the doctor and equipment that they use! I have had electrology on my underarms, face, stomach and I've seen amazing results. You do have to be patient and treat the area several times for permanent removal. It took a couple years for my underarms to be completely free of hair, because I only went for an hour a few times per year, and my thick, dark Italian hair is pretty damn stubborn. The hair will grow back after the first 1 - 3 times, but it gets thinner and lighter, until it completely stops growing. This is definitely a big investment of time and money, but it's worth it if you're patient and stick with it!

The short & sweet version: Ann has 25+ years of experience, knows what she is doing and she is more than highly qualified to take care of your unwanted hair needs. She will take care of you, her prices are out-of-this-world amazing (affordable), and what really separates her from the rest is that she WANTS to help you. I personally feel that when you're doing something that yields permanent results, you should do your research in finding a qualified professional to help you with your issue. This person for me is Ann Di Marco, Certified Electrologist. My first phone call with Ann fully convinced me that she wants to help me and is the most qualified person to do so. We played a bit of phone tag, but she made sure to return every single call I made to her. She willingly answered all the questions I had regarding electrolysis, her experience, her methods, etc. I scheduled a one-hour session with her at the end of the phone call. She moves quickly and doesn't answer the phone during your session - she respects that you are paying for the time so she doesn't waste a single second of it. $75 is what she charges for one hour (I included a photo of her pricing list) and she refused to take a tip! This only furthers my original belief that she really does want to help people and isn't in this just for the money. She stops very briefly to cool down the area that she is working on and frequently checks in with you to make sure you are comfortable (or at least, as comfortable as you can be with this type of appointment). Her office is quite easy to find and on a main avenue in the town of Hawthorne. Parking is available in the back & Ann personally greets each guest. Reservations are required, but Ann is flexible and will work with you to find a time that works. Recommended? Highly so! I am really looking forward to my future sessions with Ann. Also, one final note - only cash or personal check is accepted. NO credit cards.
