“Love Luxxor! A large group of us essentially took over the salon a couple weekends ago to get our hair and makeup done for a large “fantasy black-tie” NYC wedding. The salon was extremely accommodating and everyone was so nice! I didn’t get my makeup done, but those who did looked gorgeous! Ricky did my hair and he was wonderful and fun to chat with while sipping a complimentary mimosa :). He wasn’t alerted that I had clip-in extensions I wanted to use for my hairstyle, which take more time than he had allotted, but he made time for me and I teared up when he showed me the result (see photo)! I don’t live in NYC, but I will definitely go back if I ever need hair or makeup done there in the future. Thank you so much to the salon and especially my new bestie, Ricky!“

She was always proactive about getting in touch which is something that was very much appreciated while my fiancé and planned our own wedding.

The day of I had a great team: Ebone, NeKea and Rossy. They were prompt and everyone’s hair and make up turned out beautifully. They also brought tons of energy and good vibes. As someone who doesn’t often wear make up and who has never done a full face, Rossy did a wonderful job on my make up so that it showed up well in pictures but did not feel heavy or unnatural. Ebone did a great job pivoting from the style we initially discussed and creating a hair look that accounted for my concerns on the day of my wedding.

“I came across this wonderful place because I followed my stylist Micah!! Micah is an absolute GEM! I have curly hair and it took me almost 20 years to finally find someone who knew how to help me handle my curls. She is so patient and kind and knowledgeable. I can recall a time that a color I chose wasn't really right for me and she stayed with me deepening the glaze until I was happy! It was my own fault and she didn't have to spend her evening after hours trying to give me what I couldn't explain. She ended up understanding my non-sense and it came out perfect!! It's so so hard to find someone who has the 2 most important qualities....knowing what they are doing, and someone you so easily vibe with. I found that in Micah!! “Amanda is amazing! I had been wanting to get extensions for a long time but was honestly really nervous about it. I’d looked into a bunch of salons before and always got close, but something never felt quite right. I’ve been going to Love Lane Salon for a while now, they have such talented stylists, and one day I noticed they had started offering extensions. Since I already loved the salon, I decided to book a consultation with Amanda.

She immediately made me feel comfortable. She was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and walked me through how everything works. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all—no upselling, just genuine care for what would be best and healthiest for my hair.

Even during the actual appointment, I was still a little nervous, but Amanda was so calming and reassuring. And the results? Absolutely incredible. The extensions were seamless. She matched them perfectly to my hair’s texture and color, which isn’t easy to do, and the final look was just stunning. On top of that, she made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

What really stood out to me was how much she followed up afterward. She checked in during the grow-out process, gave me personalized recommendations, and made sure everything was going well. The extensions also lasted a really long time before I needed to get them adjusted.

Karisma is very patient and she gives you a full kit with pigments, and all the items needed to learn. I’ve taken classes before and they barely give you a few things. You always have to buy their items. I’m happy she was thoughtful and included a lot of items in the kit.“
