I had Frederik and he was absolutely amazing. He gave me such a beautiful and natural looking balayage. I'm a dark brunette, so I feel I often either get it so light that it looks fake, or it's still too dark and it's not noticeable enough that I dyed my hair. I'm also half Asian, so my hair is naturally very flat and lifeless. Frederik gave it honey tones just like I asked for, and he did a spectacular job blending it with my hair while also framing my face. It really pops and makes me seem like I have more volume (even though it's just dye!). I highly recommend coming to HOA and requesting him.

This place is awesome! Where to begin!? -- I recently moved from Rockland County NY to Haledon, NJ. (I've had the same stylist in Rockland for 12+ years so I was super apprehensive to try a new salon). I passed by the storefront a few times as I now live only 5 minutes from here. The salon name is what grabbed my attention and after visiting their website, obsessively viewing google images and reviews I called to make my first appointment. Since I've had a lot done to my hair in the past (partial/full highlights, bleach, etc.) after a short phone conversation they recommended I come in for a short consultation to discuss what I'm looking for and how we could go about achieving it. Upon arriving for my consultation I was greeted by a super friendly staff and Lisa got right to work -- after going over what she thought would not only look great, but also keeping in mind the health of my hair, we set out on a plan for my appointment. She really took her time and I immediately felt comfortable! Appointment time! I am so incredibly happy with the result and the work Lisa put into making me feel like a rock star, I will for sure be coming back! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff Extremely clean and trendy décor I can't wait to get back in Lisa's chair! ‍

First time trying this hair salon, I was looking and looking on google for a great place that deals with pixie hair cuts, and I found this place, I always go for the pictures and the reviews. I saw a few hair pixie review that sounded interesting, so I decided to try it. I made my appointment by phone it was quick and easy. Once I got to the shop, the staffs were welcoming and nice. I got my service from Lisa, she was really professional and attentive to what I had in mind. All I can say I got a service better than what I expected she went way and beyond. I came out of there like rock star!! Thank again.
