I have been going to Ruben’s barbershop for 2-3 years now and would never go anywhere else. The service is always so friendly, especially Eva, she is always there with a smile and an open ear. She is always such a delight to talk to and always has gives me a good haircut. It’s good to have someone close by knows how to style my hair type. I am thinking about trying new things with my hair and trust them help me with my journey.

I have been coming to Eva and Rubens Barbershop for close to 7 or 8 years and never once had a bad experience. Eva is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met and I have not hesitated to share the majority of my life’s most important moments with her in that barbershop. When I leave for college, I never cheat on Eva and always wait to come back home to get a haircut handcrafted with love. I love being greeted by such a warm, humorous family atmosphere. Ruben’s is a community staple of Gillette and the greater Longhill/Berkeley Heights community and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have been getting my haircut by Eva for 12. She is an amazing barber and an awesome person. Her shop is always clean and she is always welcoming. Over the twelve years I have been going to Eva, she has hardly raised her prices. She offers the best value for a haircut in the area by a longshot.
