An hour later I entered the office--everything was well organized and clean; several people were busy working, and Silvia greeted me to start the fitting of the frames I had brought. No appointment; immediate start. She took her time adjusting several times the bridge tabs, made detailed measurements, and explained the science of the three zones in my progressives. She also measured the zones in my current glasses to be sure the lab would know how to set the zones in my new ones. Her colleagues all seemed similarly friendly and informed. I am someone who likes to learn all about whatever it is I'm about to spend my money on--cars, carpentry, electrical work, progressive lenses--and I normally approach a vendor with skepticism and a thousand questions.
